The renowned French brand Trudon is famous for its excellent perfumed candles sold since 1643, when Claude Trudon, the founder of the company, became the owner of the boutiques in Rue Saint-Honoré. Since 1714, the candles have been made from beeswax, and over the years their quality seduced the French nobility. Till 1789, the brand supplied the lights in The Versailles, up to the last days of the Ancient régime and the house survived through the French Revolution. When Napoleon I was crowned in 1811, the brand supplied the imperial court. In 2007, the brand finally took the name "Cire Trudon" and became a specialized company in the production of luxury perfumed candles. That same year, Cire Trudon's first store in Saint-Germain-des-Prés near Saint-Sulpice Church was opened, while the second store opened at 2014 at II Rue Sainte-Croix-de-la-Bretonnerie in Marais, the historical Parisian area. According to Cire Trudon, "Today, Trudon candles shine all over the world."

Maison Trudon, the perfume line of Trudon's company, presents its first perfume collection in 2017. Former Creative Director of Maison Trudon, Julien Pruvost states the “creation of a fragrance is similar to the creation of a candle." The fragrance compositions tare characteristic of French Trudon's company. Their candles are created in a pyramidal structure, offering top notes, middle notes and base notes that change like a true perfume composition.

Three perfumers worked on the Maison Trudon collection: LYN HARRIS, YANN VASNIER and ANTOINE LIE.

The 100ml elegant flacons with clear lines were designed by Pauline Deltour, who aligned them with the design of spray-perfume bottles and the special edition of Trudon La Promeneuse—a decorative object created as a Trudon fragrance diffuser. The bottle caps repeat the color and shape of the previous creations, while the elegant olive green color marks the Trudon glass jars and home spray bottles. Trudon perfumes contain an olfactory complexity that hints at a character rather than a genre. Built on noble, natural ingredients, the genderless perfumes cast light on Trudon’s ethos: to promote creative freedom and invoke unique horizons.
