Eventually, Charlatan disappeared. Several of the rare materials essential to its character became increasingly difficult to source, leaving no choice but to discontinue it. Years later, when a small quantity of those materials was found, Charlatan returned briefly in a limited 50ml edition. It sold out within months, disappearing once again almost as quickly as it had returned.

But Charlatan was never forgotten. After years of requests for its return, Rasei travelled back to Australia in search of the same materials used in the original composition. With them secured, he revisited the formula, preserving its unmistakable soul while taking it somewhere darker, richer and considerably more seductive than before.

Now presented in a new 100ml Parfum, Charlatan returns in extremely small, handmade batches. Its production is slow, difficult and uncompromisingly expensive, using materials chosen not for convenience, but because nothing else would do. This is not simply a re release. It is Charlatan as it was always meant to be, more opulent, more mysterious, and more dangerous than ever.
